Macmillan Coffee Morning Friday 27 September 10.30am to 12.30pm

Macmillan Biggest Coffee Morning – Friday 27 September 2019, 10.30am to

12.30pm

HELTC will be hosting its 16th Annual Coffee Morning for Macmillan on Friday 27 September. Every year club members generously support this national fundraising event by donating items for the various stalls and raffle as well as manning and attending on the day.

Stalls include tombola, bric-a-brac, books, home-made cakes and produce, plants and raffle.

If you have any items for the Tombola please contact Carol Bensted

(mob 07803255630) re dropping them off to her prior to the event. If she is not in please leave behind pillar in porch. Items for bric-a-brac please get in touch with Cordula (mob 07903 747982).

Fresh products/plants and cakes please bring on the day.

Silent Auction. We are holding another Silent Auction this year. If you have any high value item - tickets for an event that you cannot use, a skill/service that you could offer or anything else which we could auction - please contact

Janette Hardwidge (mob 07714 216080).

Raffle tickets. For those unable to attend on The Day tickets will be on sale on Vets Finals Day as well as at the evening social tennis sessions on Mondays 16 and 23 September.

Used books. There will be a box in the clubhouse from the weekend of             14 September in which you will be able to deposit your used books in the clubhouse lounge. We will be leaving an honesty box for donations: 50p for paperbacks and £1 for hardbacks.

Amount raised at the Macmillan Coffee Morning in 2018. Thanks to the generosity of club members and all who attended last year’s event we were able to send £2,918 to Macmillan Cancer Support to help fund the increasing range of services offered by Macmillan to those living with cancer: Macmillan nurses, a range of cancer information services, practical help at home and help with money.

We look forward to seeing you and your friends on Friday 27 September.

Doreen Pay and Sue Reidy
